What we do

When a child is believed to be in immediate danger, time matters.

Streams of Joy Services works with relevant authorities and law-enforcement partners to prepare and support emergency rescue operations involving children affected by trafficking, ritual abuse, human sacrifice and sexual exploitation.

Our priority is to move children from immediate danger to a safe and protective environment.

Rescue without justice can leave children vulnerable to repeated abuse.

We work alongside law-enforcement agencies to strengthen the investigation of child-related offences. This includes supporting case preparation, field investigations, evidence gathering and coordination among relevant actors.

Our objective is to help transform credible allegations into properly investigated cases that can proceed through the justice system.

We work with law enforcement to identify and pursue individuals and networks involved in trafficking, exploitation, ritual abuse and other serious offences against children.

Where appropriate, our work seeks to identify not only direct perpetrators but also those who facilitate, finance, organise or benefit from exploitation.

Children and families affected by serious crimes can easily become lost within complex justice processes.

Streams of Joy Services supports survivors and families as cases move through investigation and prosecution. We advocate for the protection, dignity and rights of affected children while supporting appropriate engagement with justice actors.

Our goal is simple:

Children should not have to suffer twice — first from the crime and then from a system that fails to protect them.

Following rescue, survivors may require urgent assistance.

Depending on individual needs and available resources, Streams of Joy Services facilitates or provides:

• Medical assessment and treatment
• Emergency basic needs
• Safe accommodation or protective arrangements
• Psychosocial support
• Child protection services
• Family tracing and assessment
• Family reunification
• Community reintegration
• Follow-up and recovery support

Every survivor is different. Our response is therefore designed around the child’s individual protection and recovery needs.

Long-term change requires more than responding to cases after harm has occurred.

We work with communities and local stakeholders to strengthen awareness, identify risks, promote child protection and encourage early reporting of suspected abuse, trafficking and exploitation.

We believe communities are not simply recipients of protection — they are essential partners in creating safer environments for children.
