These terms govern use of the Streams of Joy Services website. By accessing or using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
About this Website
Streams of Joy Services is a nonprofit organization working to investigate and rescue children from human trafficking, ritualized abuse and human sacrifice, and aggravated sexual abuse. The Website provides general information about our work, programmes, opportunities, publications, campaigns and ways to support us. It is not intended to provide professional, legal, medical, financial or safeguarding advice.
Acceptable use
You may use the Website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
- interfere with, damage or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its systems or content;
- upload or send harmful code, spam, abusive material or anything that could harm people or systems;
- use the Website in a way that risks the safety, dignity, privacy or rights of children, beneficiaries, staff, volunteers or communities; or
- copy, scrape, reproduce or use Website content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Website and its content, including text, photographs, video, graphics, logos and publications, are owned by or licensed to Streams of Joy Services and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may view, download and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use, provided you keep all notices intact and do not alter the content. Other uses require our prior written permission.
Names, images and stories of people connected with our work must not be copied, shared or used in a way that could identify, stigmatise, exploit or otherwise harm them.
Donations and external services
Donations may be processed by approved third-party payment providers. Their terms and privacy notices apply to those transactions. We do not store full card details unless clearly stated. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing.
The Website may link to external sites and services for convenience. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.
Accuracy, availability and liability
We aim to keep the Website accurate and available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend or remove content or features at any time. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Streams of Joy Services is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
User submissions
If you submit feedback, material or information through the Website, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Do not submit confidential, sensitive or safeguarding information through public forms or social-media channels unless we expressly provide a secure route for it.

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, security is at risk or this is needed to protect people or comply with law. We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on the Website with its effective date.
